Costing and planning

This 6D5N trip cost us about RM7.3k, inclusive some light shopping, day trip to Macau via Ferry, The Peak/Wax Museum and Disneyland. Initially we budgeted RM3k per pax, there were some occasions where by the underestimated the cost a little bit...

Below is the costing breakdown:

  • The Royal Plaza Hotel at Mongkok - HKD3465 (5 nights, HKD630/night, 10% tax/night)
  • The Peak + Sky terrace + Madam Tussauds - HKD190/pax
  • Macau First Ferry return - HKD638 (HKD144 to Macau, HKD175 back to Kowloon/pax)
  • Disneyland - HKD350/pax
  • Airport Express Travel Pass - HKD400/pax (HKD300/pax + HKD100/pax reload)
